LASALLIAN RESOURCES

The Brothers of the Christian Schools (also known as the De La Salle Christian Brothers) began making a difference in people’s lives over 320 years ago.  They are a religious order in the Roman Catholic Church founded by Saint John Baptist de La Salle in 17th century France. Recognizing the plight of the children of artisans and the poor, St. La Salle saw a need for a group of men who would dedicate their lives to the ministry of Christian education.

Today almost 7,000 Brothers minister together with over 73,000 lay colleagues and provide a Christian education to over 900,000 individuals in 80 countries. The following links connect you with information concerning the De La Salle Christian Brothers and their ministries.
